The trailer was launched by Suriya, who was all praise for Selvaraghavan. He said after seeing the trailer, he is eagerly looking forward for the movie.
Mani Ratnam launched the audio and said that Selvaraghavan is a trail blazer and his shot composition is fantastic. Director Magizh Thirumeni a former associate of Selvaraghavan in his speech said there was a letter from Maniratnam which said Selvaraghavan was the most promising director of the new generation
The highlight of the function was the trailer which had the invitees mesmerised. It was a visual treat, pure magical with a mystery around it. The trailer clearly indicates that the film is all about love. The tagline in the trailer asks - "How far will you travel for love?”
The function started on time with singer Vijay Prakash singing the melodious “Vinnaithandi…” song from the film. It was followed by a magic show.
Dignitaries on dais made short and sweet speeches while it was Vairamuthu who gave a highly inspiring speech about why we all should celebrate people who are living than singing praises after a person’s death.
Those who attended the function included the cast and crew of the film with Arya and Anushka being the cynosure of all eyes along with music director Harris Jayaraj, cinematographer Ramji, editor Kola Bhaskar among others.
The others present were Selvaraghavan’s father-in-law and leading lawyer Bharath Raman, Nassar,Ganesh Venkatram, Kasthoori Raja, Jayendra, KV Anand, Gnanavel Raja,Srinivasan, UTV Dhananjayan, T Shiva, Kannan, Lingusamy and Magizh Thirumeni.
It was well packaged and crisp with singer Chinmayi anchoring the show . PVP Cinema’s Prasad Potluri was present thought behind the scene along with Rajeev Kamineni.
