Jiiva's upcoming film Gypsy faces opposition from the Central Board of Film Certification.

Sources say that the CBFC officials have strictly told team 'Gypsy' that a lot of scenes need to be chopped off and given mute to many dialogues. They have also strictly told them to change the names of the controversial characters.

Despite approaching the revising committee, the team did not get clearance and they are now in a confused state as muting so many dialogues and chopping off scenes would affect the core story.

Directed by Raju Murugan and produced by Olympia Movies, Natasha Singh plays the romantic interest of Jiiva in the film. Santhosh Narayanan has composed the music for the film and SK Selvakumar who cranked the camera for Maanagaram is in charge of the visuals.
