An action packed romantic film from Soori who had won the state award for his Duniya has a jaded theme in Junglee. The prominence given to action is not attached to the story line. The cinematography, dialogues plus the songs add to the box office points of the film

Junglee Shambulinga is a strongly built guy with no proper education intends to become a villain on silver screen. But destiny has something else in store for him. Narasimha, his trusted friend takes him to an underworld don Swamy for a job. Junglee a powerful youth like Cheetah fights the goons when Swamy's son is attacked. That gives him a solid position in the gang of Swamy (a few of the Kannada films off late had the same theme). The fate of Junglee is different now with one such attack. He commands respect and money. He is haunted by sweet looking Padma (Andrita Ray). She wanst to take him away from the underworld activity but Junglee cannot give up his nefarious activities so easily. Finally it is love that wins against everything

Vijay has made some special preparation for this action role. He is seen in six packs and reminds Tiger Prabhakar of yesteryears in his action scenes. In the song sequence with Andrita Ray he looks very romantic too. The dialogues for Vijay and Rangayana Raghu are well written. Andrita Ray has a very bright future. In her second film (earlier one was Meravanige with Prajwal Devaraj) she has shown how strong she is. Hale Paper Hale Kabbina?.song tune is lifted from one of the Hindi films by V Harikrishna. Two other songs are well tuned. Satya Hegde would be a contestant for award from this film. He continues to play with dark and light shades sometimes giving Sophia color to the shots.

Action lovers will not be disappointed.
