'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan and AR Rahman met yesterday and decided to work together in their new magnum opus 'Thalaivan Irukkindraan'.
The shoot of the film will begin on September 2019 and they are targeting April 2020 release. Produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International and Lyca Productions, the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be decided.
"Happy and excited to collaborate with the one and only @ikamalhaasan himself on a magnum opus... Watch this space for more @RKFI @lycaproductions #RKFI#lycaproductions", tweeted Rahman and immediately, Kamal Haasan also replied him saying "Thanks ARR for strengthening the team with your participation. Very few projects feel good & right even as we develop it. Thalaivan Irukkindraan is one such. Your level of excitement for the project is very contagious. Let me pass it on to the rest of our crew @RKFI@LycaProductions".
Kamal Haasan will also resume shooting for Shankar's Indian 2 from August of this year. So after his political stint, Kamal has become super busy now with 'Bigg Boss', Indian 2 and Thalaivan Irukindraan.
Sources say that Kamal is planning to simultaneously shoot for both Indian 2 and Thalaivan Irukkindraan, the former will only release in 2021.
