The High Court of Kerala has reportedly allowed the screening of acclaimed documentary filmmaker Anand Patwardhan’s documentary, Reason (Vivek) at the ongoing International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala (IDSFFK) at Thiruvananthapuram.

The issue went to the High Court after the Central government refused to grant permission for its screening, says the filmmaker in his Facebook post.

Reason (Vivek)  focuses on the issues that led to the gunning down of four prominent Indian rationalists, allegedly by right-wing extremists.

Anand Patwardhan is known for his human rights oriented films, which have won recognition at National and International levels.
