Keshu Ee Veedinte Naadhan: A timepass entertainer
Nadirshah
Dilieep, Urvashi
Director Nadirshah is teaming up with his close buddy, Janapriya Nayakan Dilieep this time, in a loud comedy titled Keshu Ee Veedinte Naadhan.
As Keshu, who is running a driving school, Dilieep goes for an older look with buck tooth, unkempt hair and outfits that are never matching. He lives with his wife Ratnamma (Urvashi), their two children and his mother.
Keshu is a wily guy and his close relatives are behind him for getting more assets, which he plainly refuses. They all convince him to go for a family trip to Rameswaram, in a luxury bus. But midway Keshu learns that he has won the lottery with a prize money of Rs. 12 crores.
Now Keshu wants to return home to find the lottery ticket, without any of his relatives knowing about it. He manages to come back with his family, but the lottery agent announced the news to all and Keshu is greeted by flex boards and huge crowds.
Keshu had taken three tickets but as fate would have it, he can’t find the winning ticket. The rest of the movie is about the incidents that follow.
Nadirshah packages a comedy drama that has some emotional moments too, based on the script by Sajeev Pazhoor. This one works fine if you are not thinking too much. The visuals and the music suits the mood.
Dilieep and Urvashi are pairing up for the first time and they share a good chemistry. Dilieep performs his character, who is totally unlike him, convincingly. Urvashi shows glimpses of her hugely popular style and shines. The rest of the cast have done their parts in a fine way.
Keshu Ee Veedinte Naadhan works as an entertaining watch. For those who love Dilieep’s brand of comedies, this one could be quite a treat. Watch it on Disney + Hotstar.
