Superstar Rajinikanth’s Tuesday interaction with the media saying that he will not apologize for his remarks on the controversial rally of Periyar took place in 1971 is the talk of the local and national media.
Rajinikanth said that he recalled the incident only based on the reports published in reputed media houses and it’s not his own assumption. At the 50th anniversary of Thuglak magazine, Rajinikanth said only Mr. Cho carried the news about the controversial rally in which slipper-garland was allegedly placed on the naked image of Lord Ram and Sita.
While a few politicians criticizing Rajinikanth citing that his political knowledge is half baked so he shouldn’t comment on things he doesn’t know. But actress Khushbu who is also an active politician in Indian National Congress party heaped praise on Rajinikanth for his honest speech
“Right or wrong, it's a personal perception n acceptance..but I am glad to see @rajinikanth Sir standing firm on his ground. What we need now is honesty..fear cannot be the rule. Speak..speak what your hearts says. Everybody will have an opinion n you cannot please everyone”, tweeted Khushbu.
Khusbhu had previously acted with Rajinikanth in films like Annamalai, Pandian, and Dharmathin Thalaivan, she is currently playing an important role in Superstar’s new film with Siva.
