Vijay Antony-Arjun’s crime thriller ‘Kolaigaran’ continues its dream run and successfully enters into the fourth week in Tamil cinema which is crowded with at least three releases each week. The film grossed more than 14.6 crore rupees in Tamil Nadu and turns out to the comeback hit for Vijay Antony who faced a serious of failures recently.
Industry sources say that Kolaigaran has been retained in nearly 35 screens which is very good because these days Tamil films are readily available on OTT platforms within 25 days.
The latest hot update is that leading Bollywood production houses are showing a huge interest in procuring the remake rights of Kolaigaran. We hear that screening for various production houses are happening in Mumbai and soon, the team which offers the best price will be snapping the remake rights.
Dhananjayan’s BOFTA Entertainment released Kolaigaran in Tamil Nadu while Pradeep of Diya Movies bankrolled the film.
