The Registrar of Societies earlier cancelled the Nadigar Sangam elections saying that the termination of some of the members from the association is invalid.

But the Madras High Court has issued a stay order against the cancellation of Nadigar Sangam elections. Justice P D Audikesavalu has allowed the Nadigar Sangam to conduct the elections today (June 23) but the result should be put on hold until the court announces its final verdict.

The Justice also asked the Registrar of Societies to file his response on July 8. Vishal of Pandavar Ani expressed his happiness over the judgment and tweeted: "I always believe in Justice & Nobody is above the Law. I will fight for the Building till my last....#NadigarSangamElectionJune23 #VoteForPaandavarAni #PaandavarAni".

As reported by us earlier, there are two teams fighting against each other in Nadigar Sangam elections. Pandavar Ani spearheaded by Nassar and Baghyaraj’s Sankardas Ani.
