‘Makkal Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi begins shooting for Maamanithan

‘Makkal Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi is undeniably the busiest actor in Tamil cinema. As the actor has finished shooting for his portions in Rajinikanth’s Petta, Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Super Deluxe, and his own untitled film with Sethupathi director Arun Kumar, Vijay Sethupathi has started shooting for a new film Maamanithan which is being directed by Seenu Ramasamy.

Produced by YSR Studios and K Productions, Yuvan Shankar Raja and Ilaiyaraaja are jointly composing music for the film. Gayathrie of Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom fame has been roped in to play a pivotal role in Maamanithan and Sukumar is cranking the camera.

The principal shoot kick-started with an auspicious pooja even and soon, the makers will be confirming the rest of the cast and crew. Vijay Sethupathi has also signed a film for his 96 distributor 7 Screen Studios but the director and other details are yet to be revealed.
