Noted Scenarist and director Sachy passed away on 18 Jun following cardiac arrest. He was 48.
With two big success during recent months, Driving Licence as a script writer and Ayyappanum Koshiyum as a writer-director, Sachy was one of the most in demand names in Mollywood.
Sachy (Sachidanandan) was a lawyer, who teamed up with Sethu, to make a mark in movies. They had planned to make their debut as directors with Robinhood. But that project didn’t happen then and they decide to script for other directors. The duo wrote Chocolate (2007), Robinhood (2009), Makeup man (2011), Seniors (2011) and Doubles (2011) together.
Then they separated and Sachy wrote the scripts, Run Baby Run (2012), Chettayees (2012), Ramaleela (2017), Sherlock Toms (2017) and Driving Licence (2019).
Sachy made his debut as a director with Anarkali (2015). This year he directed his second movie, Ayyappanum Koshiyum, with Prithviraj and Biju Menon in the lead.
