Mamangam has been produced by Venu Kunnappilly under the banner of Kavya Film Company and directed by M Padmakumar. Manoj Pillai is the cinematographer and M Jayachandran is the music director.
Mamangam is said to be Mollywood's costliest movie till date and is based on the temple festival that used to be held once in 12 years in the 1700s.
Unni Mukundan, Anu Sithara, Prachi Tehlan, Kaniha and Ineya include the cast of Mamangam.
