In a recent interview to The Hindu, actress Manjima Mohan said that she hates the word female-centric. Manjima says that even in a regular film, a heroine's character should be as important as the hero.
Manjima cites Nayanthara and Trisha's characters from Naanum Rowdy Dhaan and Vinaai Thaandi Varuvaya as perfect examples. The actress says if the hero and heroine have equal scope then all the films would be as good as female-centric films.
On the film front, Manjima has Vishnu's FIR in which she plays the lawyer and Kalathil Sandhippom with Jiiva and Arulnithi in the pipeline.
Talking about the OTT release, the actress says that she prefers theater experience and says a Vijay film demands first-day show celebrations with fans.
