As Prime Minister announced a strict lockdown for twenty-one days starting from today(March 25), it's now almost confirmed that Thalapathy Vijay's Master which was originally scheduled to release on April 9 will be postponed to a later date.
If sources in the industry are to be believed, the makers of Master are silently working on the post-production works but the release has been indefinitely pushed. According to the trade sources, the Vijay starrer will most release in May or June of this year provided the Government lifts the lockdown.
Produced by Xavier Britto, the audio of the film was launched a few days back in Chennai. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Master also has Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Gauri Kishan, Andrea, and Shanthanu in pivotal characters.
