The ban on Shane Nigam by the producers’ association in Kerala has taken a more serious turn with many prominent names questioning the decision to prevent an actor from working by imposing a ban.
Though Shane’s action of shaving his head and beard has not been supported by any, the issues took a different turn with the announcement of the ban and the charges that the use of drugs is rampant among the younger crop of actors and technicians.
According to some reports AMMA president Mohanlal had talks with Shane’s mother and the actors’ organization could ask for the lifting of the ban.
It was Rajeev Ravi who spoke against the ban first. Filmmaker Aashiq Abu and actor Salim Kumar have also spoken against the ban on the actor.
As per industry sources a truce is in the offing where Shane will complete the remaining portions of his pending projects, Veyil and Qurbani first and then proceed with the rest.
Shane today posted a picture of his family as they remembered his dad and mimicry artiste Abi, who passed away in 2017.
