In his recent interaction with Vikatan, RJ Balaji who is all set to make his directorial debut with Mookuthi Amman said: "The story wasn't actually written keeping Nayanthara in mind. We just thought that how Ajith sir's presence helped in conveying the strong message to the society in Nerkonda Paarvai, a big star like Nayanthara's presence in our film would help us in getting a good reach. Nayanthara was impressed in the first listen itself. She and our entire team offered prayers in almost all the temples in Kanyakumari and surrounding areas. She strictly followed the vegetarian diet during the shoot and our team also said a strict no to non-veg food during the shoot".
The actor also heaped praise on Nayanthara saying that her sincerity only helped her to be in the numero uno position for almost ten years. "She gets the scene paper in advance and prepares all her lines before the shoot", said the actor.
Balaji said that he plays a middle-class guy with three sisters in the film. Mouli and Urvashi are playing his parent while Ajay Gosh is the villain.
Balaji says that the film will only release in theaters once audiences are ready to visit cinema halls.
