Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja
Rio, Vigneshkanth, Radha Ravi
The film is all about two wannabe YouTube personalities Siva (Rio Raj) and Vicky (RJ Vigneshkanth) who want to earn more money to live their dream luxurious life. A senior businessman (Radha Ravi) agree to make both Siva and Vicky super rich but they have to execute three things for him.
Though the tasks are quite tough for the happy-go-lucky mindset of the youngsters, they agree only for the huge money! Can they successfully accomplish the mission?
While Sivakarthikeyan's debut production venture Kanaa was superior in technicalities, Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja's music, cinematography, and production values is below average. However, the film manages to entertain us to an extent due to the humour (the film is executed by popular YouTube channel Blacksheep).
As usual, the romantic scenes are ineffective and refuses to sync in with the basic theme of the film that it looks odd. Rio who debuts as a hero has done a neat job while Vigneshkanth's comedy scenes were adequate. Radha Ravi as the businessman is a good choice and Nanjil Sampath's scenes are fun.
Had the team spent more time on the technical department and rewritten the script a bit to suit the taste of the mainstream audiences, it would have been a well made satirical comedy entertainer. Not a fan of satires on Tamil YouTube world? Then, Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja is not your cup of tea.
