Thalapathy Vijay’s recent films, Mersal and Sarkar had politically motivated dialogues but sources say that his upcoming film Bigil will not have any such lines.

The film’s co-writer Ramana Girivasan says that Bigil will have more comedy scenes. “Despite Vadivelu’s presence, we missed adding more comedy scenes in Mersal  but in Bigil fans will surely enjoy the lighter moments featuring Vijay sir, Vivek, and Yogi Babu. I can also guarantee that there will not be any political dialogues in the film”, said Ramana who also had co-written the dialogues of Theri and Mersal.

The writer also says that Bigil is much grander than both the previous films. Talking about Nayanthara’s characterization in the film, Ramana says “Besides the usual glamour and comedy scenes, Nayanthara also has an important scope in the film”.

According to Ramana, the shoot of Bigil will be wrapped up in August and the entire team is working hard to release the film for Diwali.
