Prabhu Deva's offbeat movie in August

Prabhu Deva's long delayed offbeat Kalavadiya Pozhudugal, directed byThangar Bachchan will be releasing this August.

It stars Prabhu Deva and Bhumika Chawla in the lead with Prakash Raj, playing a pivotal role.

The shooting of this film started in March 2009 and was completed in 2010, but the producers Ayngaran International for some reason delayed its release.

In the supporting roles are Sathyaraj who will play the role of Periyar, along with  Manivannan and Ganja Karuppu.

Now one of the producers C Arun Pandian has become an MLA belonging to Vijaykanth's DMDK. It seems Arun Pandian was very impressed with the film, and is finally given the green signal to release it in August.

Kalavadiya Pozhudugal is a romantic film that talks about the intense but silent love of its lead pair. Prabhu Deva says it is one of the best films he has done.

Thangar Bachchan the director says : "Prabhu Deva's performance without any dance or fight is extraordinary and the movie will be a landmark film."
