Global icon Priyanka Chopra and singer husband Nick Jonas are set to sue OK!, a magazine that featured an article stating that the couple was filing for a divorce after being married for just 117 days.
The US-based magazine quoted a source saying, "They've been fighting about everything - work, partying, spending time together. The bottom line is that Nick and Priyanka rushed into things...And now they're paying the price. Their marriage is hanging by a thread."
As per reports in a popular entertainment website, the duo is preparing to sue the magazine for spreading false and incorrect information.
As per reports, sources close to Priyanka told the website, ""Once she makes up her mind to deal with negative rumour-mongering, nothing can stop her. Priyanka will let loose her legal team on this news-manufacturing tabloid and ensure they get to their knees."
Another quote from Priyanka's friend was featured on the website saying, "I met them both last week. The vibes between Priyanka and Nick is so warm no party pooper can piss on her parade. Tabloids and portals that go any lengths to generate news must be told where to get off."
The magazine's scandalous article was slammed by Priyanka and Nick's fans on social media for publishing false claims and portraying the Bollywood actress in bad light.
The article also stated that Nick believed his wife was easygoing when he met her, but she is a control freak with a bad temper, which he wasn't aware of. The slanderous article went on to say that the Jonas' wanted Nick to end his marriage with the Bollywood diva as they thought she was "this mature woman who was ready to settle down and have kids," but they now feel she's a party girl who "acts like she is 21."
After receiving adverse responses, OK! had to take down the article.
