Yogish, Sanchitha Padukone, Srinivasamurthy, Dwarakish, Santosh
A remake of Selvaraghavan?s Tamil film Kadhal Kondein(of 2003) is a worn out subject as it is made after six years in Kannada.
Many of the scenes in this film have already been copied in upteen films and the film is too lengthy.
Vinod (Yogish) has spent most of his life in an orphanage. He goes to study engineering in a big city. An introvert, he keeps away from other students who also have aversion to this strange and dirty character. Divya (Sanchita Padukone) befriends Vinod and she understands his pessimism and encourages him to be outgoing.
Vinod falls in love with her but there is a streak of lust and an unknown sense of extreme possessiveness for her. Divya is in love with Adhi (Santosh ) and Vinod promises to help them get together when her father opposes the match. The film ends in a kidnap drama which also reveals that Vinod is a psychopath who has left a trail of blood behind him.
It is a right kind of role for Yogish but he has to involve in avoiding inconsequential situations. Sanchitha Padukone has a good debut in Kannada. She is tall and beautiful. Srinivasamurthy and Dwarakish have nothing to boast.
Abhiman Roy after a long innings has done a good job in the music. Three of his five scorings are very melodious. The lyrics are also good. Giri camera work is flawless.
