Release reshuffle in May!

Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan was to release on May 9, so some big movies shifted their release date. Now since the film has been postponed to May 23, four Malayalam films are releasing on May 9 – God’s Own Country, Last Supper, My Dear Mummy & Medulla Oblongata.

On May 15, a day before Lok Sabha election results are announced Manju Warrier’s comeback film How Old Are You directed by Rosshan Andrrews, with Kunchacko Boban playing her husband is getting released. The film written by Sanjay Bobby is about man-woman relationship. The film is produced by Listin Stephen under the banner of Magic Frames and distributed by Central Pictures.

Mohanlal’s Mr. Fraud which was originally slotted for May 8 is now releasing on Saturday May 17, a day after election results are announced. Mr. Fraud is a heist film written and directed by B Unnikrishnan starring Mohanlal, Siddique, Dev Gill, Pallavi, Mia, and Manjari in the lead roles. The film is produced by AV Anoop under the banner AVA Productions and is being distributed by Max Lab.

Bangalore Days written and directed by Anjali Menon, and produced by Anwar Rasheed was slated for release on May 16. Since the work on this romantic feel good film is not complete, it has been postponed to May 23.  The film, a story about three young people who crossover from Kerala to Bangalore features an ensemble cast consisting of Dulquer Salmaan, Nivin Pauly, Nazriya Nazim, Fahadh Faasil, Nithya Menen, Parvathi Menon and Isha Talwar.
