"I request Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth to stay out of politics. Now money dominates everything in politics. I quit the film industry when I was on top of my game. Though we only enter into politics to do good for the people, the money will defeat us. They defeated me in my own constituency with the money power and the same happened to my brother Pawan Kalyan," said Chiranjeevi.
He also added: "Politics will not suit sensitive people like me. I hope Kamal and Rajini are not as sensitive as me. They should face a lot of things including insult and betrayal in politics. But my best wishes will always be there for them."
In the same interview, Chiranjeevi also recalled the good olden days in Chennai where he spent time with Rajini, Kamal, Sivaji Ganesan, Mammootty, and Mohanlal. "I clapped the first shot of Ajith's Prema Pushtakam and Vijay's film along with Rajinikanth. Had an intuition that both will become big stars in the future," said Chiranjeevi.
