Karthikeya Gopala Krishna
Jagapathi Babu, Priyamani, Tannikella Bharani, Keerthi Chawla
This is the third film in the combination of Jagapathi Babu and Priyamani. Though their earlier flicks Pellaina Kothhalo (a super hit) and Pravarakhyudu (an average show) could work a wonder with the pair, this time it brought monotony and failed to create repeat the magic.
Suhani (Priyamani) is a reserved type a lady. One day, she happened to rescue Krishna Prasad (Tannikella Bharani) from an accident and gives him first aid. As a gesture of gratitude, he presents her a revolver with one bullet in it. He tells her to use it at her opponent at the eleventh hour. Suhani makes an attempt at her friend turned foe (Keerthi Chawla) but could not do it. She again tries to shoot Sandeep (Jagapathi Babu), only to fall in love with him. Why does she want to kill them, and why does she fail in her attempts. This forms the crux of the movie.
Jagapati Babu came out with routine performance, which lacked novelty from all angles. Though a lot of care was taken to project the hero in his prime, it did not help much to the main story. Coming to Priyamani, the audience would feel that she should not have done such a role at a time when she established herself as one of the glamorous heroines, fit to tune up with the young heroes. This flick might rob of her of image to some extent. The character played by Keerthi Chawla is abrupt both in the entry and exit. Tannikella Bharani played to some extent a lengthy role, but without much meaning to the audience.
The story itself turned into a big boredom without plan of action on the screen. Director Karthikeya Gopalakrishna has completely lost grip over the narration and characterization as well.
Music by Chinni Charan and dialogues by Madhu are a saving grace. Ayyo Rama Inthena song is good to watch. The front benchers can revel at the expose of Priyamani without a limit, where as it would turn into a repulsion for the family crowds, who patronized the previous films of the pair (Jagapthi and Priyamani). The chance of Sadhyam staying before the box office stamina is difficult.
