BC Patil, Ashwini, Kruthika, Vijay Kaundinya, BV Radha, Ashok Kheney
This is a haphazardly made film that is nothing but a documentary on the life of director-producer-actor-MLA B. C. Patil. This would surely be a ready stock for Patil to fight in the next elections.
The obesity of Patil is a big bane and his tower like personality in the close up is unimpressive. The film suffers from bad casting, stale storyline and dialogues that are routine. In addition to his life sketch ,Patil has added some of the scenes of other films to bring in commercial elements.
Taking the mantle of DCP Crime B.C. Patil plays his real life on reel as a cop who takes on the system and bulldozes via encounter of goons. He becomes a terror to goondas supported by politicians. He is framed in a false charge but before that, Patil resigns. Yet he is arrested and kept in prison for 15 days. That is the starting of his political career.
The director-actor has tried to project his personal life as a cop and politician. His one-man act destroys all corrupt politicians and the Hirekerur MLA (he is so in real life) ends up as the chief minister of the state on screen.
Patil?s dialogue delivery is quite OK but he has forgotten to act. Ashwini as cop in the second half wins for her dialogues. Vijay Kaundinya the new villain on Kannada screen has good career ahead. Onchuru?. song composed by Sai Karthik is passable. Camera by Niranjan is not up to the mark.
