Speaking at the media meet of U-Turn, Samantha said: "I didn't expect such an awesome response for the Tamil trailer of U-Turn. I had my expectations for the Telugu trailer but 2 million views for the Tamil version tells me that we have won a little bit here. You can't classify U-Turn's genre, the film itself is a journey ".
The pretty actress said that after watching the Kannada version, she felt the story is universal and it should reach wider range of audiences."The film’s strong content is the star and no one else, we all have equal scope in the film", said Samantha.
