At the press meet of his upcoming film 'A1', Santhanam said that finding a proper release is a tedious process.
"Finding a proper release has become a big process these days. We were asked to postpone our film for Avengers, IPL and on top of it, they are saying that it's month-end so the collections will be affected. The problem is that my producer Raj has borrowed money from financiers so the interest rate will increase. We can't hold our release date after a point of time", said Santhanam.
The comedy actor turned hero also asked media to not spread negativity. "I understood that the smoking poster in Dagalty send a wrong signal to the society but I seriously don't know the controversy behind 'A1' teaser. Media should not encourage such people who seek cheap publicity", said the actor.
"As Santhosh Narayanan pointed out, this film has got the format of Soodhu Kavvum in my style. Johnson who was in my team for a long time has become a director now, he is very brilliant. Thanks to Santhosh sir, his presence has given a new color to the film", said Santhanam.
'A1' is all set to release on July 26.
