Seenu Ramasamy seeks CM's help, says he received life threat

Award-winning filmmaker Seenu Ramasamy of Thenmerku Paruvakaatru, Dharma Durai, and Neer Paravai fame took to his Twitter page to say that he has been receiving life threats from unknown people. He has sought the help of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and called it an urgent issue.

The filmmaker requested Vijay Sethupathi to opt out of 800, the biopic of Muthiah Muralidharan, and ever since he has been receiving life-threatening calls and abusive comments from unknown people.

The filmmaker says he politely requested Sethupathi just like any other person from the Tamil community. Seenu says that he still has a good rapport with Vijay Sethupathi and he also spoke to the actor after he opted out of the film.
