Telugu filmmakers are running out of idea on how to make love stories work. So Sreenu Vaitla has reworked some recent love stories, added a bit of that classy, coming of age film Dil Chahta Hai and the Telugu hit Nuvve Kavali and served as Sontham. To bring in the crowds he has added some comedy from Sunil, which has nothing to do with the story.

The gang of three- Vamsikrishna (Aryan Rajesh, an outgoing extrovert), Bose (Rohit, demure and a soft spoken girl) and Nandu (Namita). They are all friends from childhood. Soon Bose falls in love with Soumya (Neha) and Nandu supports him. Somewhere along the way Vamsi?s casual remark that Soumya-Bose relationship won?t flourish leads to a scrap between the two. Meanwhile Nandu nurses a big crush on Vamsi, who feels that friendship is above love. One day Vamsi leaves for New Zealand to look after his father`s (Tanikella Bharani) business empire. After his fall out with Bose, a lonely Vamsi realizes that he misses Nandu and that he cannot live without her! On his return he finds that Nandu is engaged to somebody else. Later Vamsi and Bose make up and plan for a reunion with Nandu. How the lovers unite in the end forms the rest of the predictable climax.

It something has to save the film it is Sunil?s comedy. Aryan Rajesh is disappointing as he cannot emote or dance well. Namita looks good and has done a fairly decent job. Rohit as Bose is far better than the hero. On the whole the film could have been marketed more as a comedy film rather than a love story.

Verdict: Damp Squib
