Interacting with the media in Chennai to promote her new horror-comedy 'Petromax', Tamannaah said: "I was skeptical about horror comedies because a lot of films from the same genre got released in Tamil. But after watching the original Telugu version, I realized that even Tamil audiences would enjoy this film".
"The first thing which attracted me in the film is the core story. I can't solely take credits for the film because actors like Sathyan sir, Munishkanth sir, Kaali, sir and TSK have done a commendable job. The entire film was shot in just 31 days, credits should also go to my director Rohin who was super fast on the sets", added Tamannaah.
The actress also said later that these days the script is bigger than the stars so playing an important role is more than enough and recalled her characters from 'Baahubali' and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy'.
'Petromax' is scheduled to release this Friday.
