Director Abrid Shine’s The Kung Fu Master, which releases on Jan 24, features martial arts in a way that has never seen before in Malayalam cinema.
The actors have reportedly undergone rigorous training in martial arts before the shooting started. The story is set in north India where a brother and a sister takes on some criminals, trained in martial arts.
Neeta Pillai, who made an impressive debut in Abrid Shine’s Poomaram as a college chairperson, had undergone training in martial arts for the movie. Jiji Scaria, a trained martial arts expert, plays Rishi.
Abrid Shine has earlier directed 1983, Action Hero Biju and Poomaram.
