​With successful six months completion of the year 2015, here we bring you three controversies that shook Sandalwood in the first half of the year and kept the industry in the limelight!

Producers' Association protest

No, it wasn’t the protest that raked up controversy; it was the alleged meeting that was set up to solve the issue that started the controversy! Rebel Star Ambareesh headed the meeting and unfortunately the meeting ended in a fiasco, as there were exchange of words between the actor and producers, which resulted in producers shouting slogans against Ambareesh. Artiste’s Association, along with few producers, strictly condemned the same and warned producers of dire consequences if they failed to apologize to Ambi. The issue was later sorted after political interference.
