Actor-Director Upendra who has returned to directing films after a gap of ten years was quite nervous before the release of Super. He was into severe anxiety wondering how people would accept his futuristic film which was different in all aspects.

The thunderous response to the film in the first three days throughout the state has really gladdened the actor-director. He is now a very confident man and wants to thank all who made this film a success.

"First I should thank the large number of people who had thronged to more than 130 theatres and multiplexes which are screening the film. People have been waiting in long queues for hours together to get the tickets and have been positively responding to the film. I have not been able to get the opinion of all the people, but I have been interacting with many people through live programmes. This has gladdened the whole team which worked for the film including my producer Rockline Venkatesh and a big team of technicians and artists.

"The unprecedented response has given me the strength of 100 elephants and I am sure I will be moving forward with a comfortable degree of confidence. The response has been similar from big cities to the smaller centres and I thank all the people who have seen the film so far and would appeal my fans to watch the film in the coming days", says Upendra.

Incidentally, the film which has opened to a full house throughout the state on day one has continued its winning streak.
