Vetrimaaran agrees to remove a controversial line from ‘Asuran’
While Vetrimaaran’s Asuran is rocking at the Tamil Nadu box office, comedy actor and politician Karunas expressed his disappointment over the line ‘Aanda Parambarai’ in Asuran which denotes his ‘Mukkulathor’ community. Vetrimaaran acknowledged the request of Karunas and muted the line from the film.

Karunas had previously acted in Vetrimaaran’s Polladhavan along with Dhanush. Interestingly, Karunas’ son Ken plays a pivotal role Chidambaram, younger son of Dhanush in the film.

Netizens say that instead of basking in the appreciation which Ken is getting for his lovely performance in Asuran, Karunas is pointing out such irrelevant points in the media.

It is worth mentioning the word ‘Aanda Parambarai’ was also used in Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali directed by Pa. Ranjith.
