After sharing screen space with his son Surya in Sindhubaadh, Vijay Sethupathi has now roped in his daughter Shreeja Sethupathi to play an important role in his rural family entertainer Sanga Tamizhan.
While Sindhubaadh’s director Arun only wanted Surya to play the petty thief role in the film, Vijay Sethupathi revealed that it was him who asked Sanga Tamizhan director to give an opportunity for his daughter to play as one of the five kids in the film.
Vijay Sethupathi wanted Shreeja to act in films because she shouldn’t feel inferior in front of her brother Surya who has done two films now. The doting dad makes sure to treat both Shreeja and Surya equally in family and he has now extended it in his films.
Sethupathi is currently busy shooting for SP Jananathan’s Laabam in South Tamil Nadu
