Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi's commercial action potboiler Sanga Thamizhan was originally slated to release for Diwali. But after Thalapathy Vijay's Bigil and Karthi's Kaithi confirmed their Diwali release plans, the producers of Sanga Thamizhan advanced the release to October first week.
Now, the latest update is Libra Productions' Ravinder Chandrasekhar has procured the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of Sanga Thamizhan from its original producers Vijaya Productions. As Libra is releasing a small film titled Miga Miga Avasaram on October 11, they have now announced that Sanga Thamizhan will be releasing for Diwali weekend.
Directed by Vijay Chander, Sanga Thamizhan boasts an ensemble of actors including Raashi Khanna, Nivetha Pethuraj, Soori, Nassar, Soori, Sriman, Ashutosh Rana, Ravi Kishan, Marimuthu, Rajendran, John Vijay and Sriman in pivotal characters.
Interestingly Thalapathy 64's hero Vijay's Bigil, villain Vijay Sethupathi's Sanga Thamizhan, and director Lokesh Kanagaraj's Kaithi are now scheduled to release for Diwali.
