Vikram Prabhu goes back to the villages

Vikram Prabhu who made a sensational debut with Kumki as an elephant mahout, is going back to the village.

The city slicker will now once again play a village youth in his new film to be directed by Ezhil.

The shoot of the untitled film will start in May. Sri Divya is being paired opposite Vikram in the film. Vikram who has long hair now for Sigaram Thodu will have an all new look in the film.

Ezhil says : “ It is a romantic emotional drama with mass elements set in a village near Thanjavur. He plays the son of MS Bhaskar who runs a light music troupe which specialises in old songs of MGR and Sivaji.  However Vikram character is more interested in real estate , but due to circumstances is forced to take up the male singer in the troupe. The plot revolves around  a young woman  who is in trouble due to the villain played by John Vijay ”(In Pic: Sigaram Thodu)
