Vinod Raj, Dr Leelavathi, Ashwini, Nihal, Vikram Udaykumar, Sadashiva
Veteran actress Dr Leelavathi and her son Vinod Raj, the dancing hero of Kannada cinema is back with this taut thriller. Post interval the film is breath taking with terrific screenplay.. Director Srinivas Kaushik?s prominence on narration of the story with not much focus to the image of the lead actor is commendable.
Running a guest house in Bheemanakuppe the remote forest area near Sirsi and earning meagre amount, Mary (Dr Leelavathi) brings up her son John (Nihal) with great difficulty. She faces a rude shock when she knows that she lost her son in an accident.
Whether this is an accident or murder is revealed only when Inspector Prathap (Vinod Raj) arrives. Prathap is on another mission to find four missing youths in Bheemanakuppe. Prathap immediately realizes that something is fishy and mysterious. As the mystery unravels, we find a supernatural connection in the proceedings. There are no baggy ends and the film concludes quickly with fair share of thrills.
Dr Leelavathi shows her terrific screen presence. Vinod Raj as investigating officer is very lively in acting and his dancing prowess is amazing. Ashwini has very few scenes.
There is sharp editing and splendid cinematography from Nagesh Acharya. Jaga Jaga Jagavella Jagala?. song has good lyrics and choreography is fabulous. Akil the newcomer in the music shows promises to shine.
