Movie Title

Yee Shathamanada Veera Madhakari

Star Cast

? Sudeep (double role), Ragini, Tennis Krishna, Doddanna, Dinesh Gandhi, Devaraj (guest role)

This senseless action film directed by Sudeep doing double role in his third consecutive remake direction (other two are ?My Autograph and No 73 Shanthinivasa?) does not offer anything new. ?Yee Shathamanadha Veera Madhakari? is a remake of Telugu flick ?Vikramarkudu? is similar to a few Kannada films released in the past. As a director Sudeep failed to access this aspect and taken up this remake shows his poor sense on subjects.

Veera Madhakari (Sudeep) is a nightmare to bad elements wherever he is transferred. In four years he has seen 10 transfers in his profession and never compromised in his duty. Such a strong cop comes to the place dominated by Bobji. As usual the insult he faces enrages him. The Bobji gang very cruel takes the life of Veera Madhakari in the second attempt. In the city there is Sathyaraj (Sudeep again) who is a petty thief. He strikes the police department and once again as the audiences expect the thief turns cop to put an end to the whole trauma of Bobji gang.

Cutting down a lot of weight Sudeep does not fit the cop role and it is unimaginable when he fights with the goons. As a thief Sudeep gives some lighter moments. He as a director strikes at a few places especially when his child (played by Jarusha) arrives on the screen. Ragini the newcomer is a heroine to watch. She has the very fine physique fit for heroine and emoted very well. Baby Jarusha is very impressive in her debut.

Keeravani has given two good tunes. Cinematography by Sri Venkat is very attractive. The tourist places like Aihole, Pattadkal, Badami of Karnataka Sri Venkat has captured with aplomb.

This is a fare for Sudeep fans.
