The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registration process for the application of UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) December 2019.Candidates willing to apply for the examinations may submit their applications on the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in
The UGC NET examinations are conducted to determine a candidate's eligibility for Assistant Professor and/or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
Important dates: This year, NTA is scheduled to conduct the exam from December 2nd to December 6th, 2019 at various centres throughout the country.
While the application process has started on September 9, the last day to apply for the exam is October 8th, 2019 and the application fees can be paid on or before October 10th, 2019.The admit cards can be downloaded from the official website, from November 9th
UGC NET December 2019 result: before December 31st, 2019.
JRF: Not more than 30 years as on 01.12.2019.
Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit in applying for UGC-NET for Assistant Professor.
Examination: The UGC NET 2019 will consist of 2 papers:
Paper 1: It will be of 100 marks and will contain 50 objective type compulsory questions. Each question will carry 2 marks and will be of general nature and will test the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate.
Paper 2: It will be of 100 marks and will contain 100 objective type compulsory questions. Each question will carry 2 marks and will be based on the subject opted by the candidate.
While there is no negative marking for incorrect response, no marks will be given for questions unanswered/ marked for review.

1) Visit the NTA UGC NET website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in
2) Click on the ‘Fill Online Application Form’ on the home or click here for direct link
3) Enter the necessary information and click on submit
Remember to take a print out of the submitted application for future reference.
