Radhakrishnan gets Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhavana Award

New Delhi: Eminent social worker and writer Prof N Radhakrishnan was on Wednesday conferred the Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhavana Award for 2007 for his works in promoting Mahatma's ideals.

Radhakrishnan received the award and cash prize of Rs 3 lakh from senior Congress leader Karan Singh at a function attended by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi.

Prime Minister felicitated Radhakrishnan with a shawl. Radhakrishnan is known for his contribution to the cause of non-violence, peace and communal harmony.
