5 instances where India made an ODI series comeback after being 1-0 down

Team India has always enjoyed a glorious reputation of being a side capable of making a comeback even in the toughest of situations. The history of Indian cricket is replete with instances of the team making a spectacular rip-roaring return, despite the odds being stacked against them. Who can forget the historic Kolkata Test at the Eden Gardens in 2001 where VVS Laxman and Rahul Dravid stitched a record partnership, to set the stage for an iconic triumph against world champions Australia. Another sublime example of the immense fighting spirit which the Indian team boasts of, is that of the NatWest series final in 2002 between India and England. England posted a massive total of 325, with India restricted to 146/5 at one stage. However, Yuvraj Singh and Mohammad Kaif stitched a sublime partnership to set the stage for a special win. India are currently 1-0 down in the three-match ODI series against Australia. They will certainly draw inspiration from these five ODI series wins which they registered despite losing the first match, ahead of an extremely important clash in Rajkot:
