The Royal Challengers Bangalore are considered one of the most underwhelming outfits in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL). This reputation has been formed on the back of constant inability to deliver the goods under pressure, with the franchise yet to lift the trophy even once so far.
Skipper Virat Kohli and Proteas batsman AB de Villiers have shouldered the majority of the burden for the Bangalore-based franchise, with very few players stepping up and providing quality support for the duo. Kohli has often been left immensely frustrated at the inefficiency of his troops, with the side snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
