Team India were handed a rude shock in the opening ODI of the three-match series against Australia at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, after a humiliating defeat. The visitors emerged victorious by a margin of 10 wickets, after being handed a below-par score of 256 to chase in batting-friendly conditions. In the first innings, the Australian bowling attack led by Mitchell Starc, delivered an excellent performance with wickets at regular intervals.
