The auction for the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) witnessed a lot of excitement, as some of the biggest stars in the game were purchased for jaw-dropping sums.
Australian pacer Pat Cummins scripted history after being purchased for Rs 15.50 crore by the Kolkata Knight Riders, which is the highest sum ever paid for an overseas cricketer. All-rounders Glenn Maxwell and Chris Morris were signed for Rs 10.75 crore and 10 crore respectively, marking the second and third highest acquisitions over the course of the auction.
However, there were several uncapped Indians who were also in demand on the back of excellent domestic performances and a glorious reputation of being game-changers if given opportunities. Here is a look at five such players who grabbed the limelight.
