The chorus against the International Cricket Council's proposal to knock a day off the traditional Test format is growing by the day. While Sachin Tendulkar has made it clear that the longest format should 'not be tinkered with', Mark Taylor and Shane Warne are among the former players who have supported the change. The current crop led by India skipper Virat Kohli, Australia's Tim Paine, Josh Hazlewood and Nathan Lyon as well as New Zealand quick Neil Wagner are against it. The latest to join the bandwagon is former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar.
