Bhuvneshwar Kumar has become the 18th Indian bowler to take 100 ODI wickets. The lanky pacer reached the mark when he castled Australian captain Aaron Finch in the first ODI at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Bhuvneshwar, who is playing his 96th ODI, becomes the 11th fast bowler from India to get to the landmark.
His best ODI figures - 5/42, also his only five-wicket haul so far, came against Sri Lanka in 2017.
A bowler who relies more on line and length than pace, Bhuvneshwar has been a revelation as far as economy is concerned. He has gone for less than five runs per over in his 96 matches so far.
Having made his ODI debut in 2012, it is no surprise that the UP bowler has become a mainstay in the bowling line-up along with Jasprit Bumrah.
