Team India batsman Sanju Samson failed to make his presence felt during the fourth T20I against New Zealand in Wellington, after being dismissed cheaply yet again following a rare opportunity. Samson was dismissed after attempting to go for a big shot, just like the case in his previous game for the nation against Sri Lanka. The cricketer crumbled in similar fashion, after not picking the length ball but attempting to go across the line.
The bat turned in his hand, resulting in the ball going high up in the air towards the off side partly due to the extra bounce as well. Santner completed a fine catch, with a dive forward much to the agony of the Indian fans who were not pleased. Here are some of the reactions from the fans:
