Even though India lost the ODI series against Australia 2-1, a win in the last match in Canberra boosted the team for the T20I series. Team India is known for its strong performances in the T20 format of cricket, and they proved it again by winning the three-match rubber 2-1. Team India looked to whitewash the Aussies by winning the last game but couldn't fulfill that this time.
Shikhar Dhawan 7/10
As the second highest run-getter Dhawan was expected to continue his form. The southpaw didn't disappoint as he scored a quick-fire 74 in the first ODI. It was after his dismissal that the team suffered a collapse and eventually failed to recover. Dhawan only had himself to blame as he threw his wicket away at critical crossroads, getting out to reckless shots throughout the series. In the T20s, Dhawan managed to score a total of 81 runs in the three games. So, we can safely say that his performance with the bat was mostly up and down throughout the series.
