Pacer T Natarajan was handed his India cap in the 3rd ODI against Australia. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) selection committee added him as cover for Navdeep Saini.
The Tamil Nadu pacer was initially accompanying the team as a net bowler for the series but was drafted into T20I squad after spinner Varun Chakravarthy was injured and is also a part of ODI squad now.
The left-arm bowler played for Sunrisers Hyderabad in Indian Premier League 2020. The 29-year-old gained popularity as a 'yorker specialist.' A great find of Indian legend VVS Laxman, he went on to claim 16 wickets in the league.
The bowler received his ODI cap from Virat Kohli just before the toss.
Twitter fans of Natarajan are reacting to this news as well.
